A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Agriculture, University of Basrah on the multiplicity of genetic manifestations of the PLIN1 Gene and its relation with some traits in broiler Ross 308 by postgraduate student, Mrs. Rusul Tawfiq Ali. A dissertation reviewed the relation of the fifth exon of the PLIN1 Gene with the deposition of fat in broiler chickens. The dissertation demonstrated that the genetic mutation of the cytosin-thymine base substitution occurring in the fifth exon of the PLIN1 Gene was related to some of the carcass and fat deposition characteristics.
