Diyala University’s Master's Dissertation: On Acoustic Thermal Cooler

A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Engineering, University of Diyala on designing and manufacturing a miniature acoustic thermal cooler for electrical panels by the postgraduate student, Mr. Uday Shaker Mahmoud. The dissertation aimed at designing and manufacturing an effective miniature acoustic thermal cooler capable of producing sufficient cooling power. The dissertation demonstrated how the loudspeaker is coupled with the portable acoustic thermal cooler which includes analyzing the equations governing the dynamic behavior of the amplifier to determine the appropriate acoustic conditions to obtain the optimum performance of the chiller. The dissertation concluded that the experimental model achieved a maximum temperature difference of 5.7 ° C between the hot and cold sides without a cooling load.
