His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib said that “ Basing on the message of the World Education Day and commitment to its professional and ethical values, we confirmed developing and supporting educational institutions and their staff, independence of their scientific and academic decisions-making and continuous communication with world universities and international organizations to coordinate positions and mutual exchanging experiences in light of the global circumstances”. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib added that “On this approved occasion by the United Nations on twenty-fourth of January, we call for the amendment of legislations to keep pace with the scientific research progress and knowledge development and to ensure the goals of development and community service”.
