Dr. Abd Al-Hassan added that the Ministry has taken into consideration since the beginning of the Corona crisis the international contexts and procedures in adapting details of health variables and preserving the quality of education in the Iraqi universities. Dr. Abd Al-Hassan reviewed that the educational institutions in Iraq provided an environment for positive interaction through the mechanisms of teaching and learning and succeeded in enabling students to cross the crisis and meet the academic requirements of the past academic year and the current academic year. For their part, President of the University of Baghdad, Dr. Munir Al-Saadi, President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen and President of the University of Al-Qadisiyah, Dr. Kadhim Jaber Al-Jubouri reviewed the achievement of the Iraqi universities in providing and maintaining educational services despite the circumstances of the pandemic and implementing a flexible policy that meets the scientific requirements In light of the mechanisms of blended education. For his part, the official in the UNESCO Regional Office in Beirut, Dr. Anas Buhilal said that blended education solutions are a necessity in the pandemic stage to ensure quality education and achieve the United Nations' sustainable development goals via supporting national education policies, developing and upgrading infrastructure, building institutional capacities, developing the professional aspect and strengthening the knowledge academic infrastructure according to the required outline via the built in mechanisms. Dr. Buhilal added that it is not possible to return to the pre- pandemic education t and it is unrealistic to completely go to virtual education, as well as the e-learning has its own limitations. For his part, Malaysian faculty member, Dr. Rozhan Muhammad Adros addressed the need to proceed with the development of electronic infrastructure in universities, keep pace with emergency changes and provide alternative digital solutions for the continuation of knowledge achievement in the world. It is worth mentioning that the Dean of Al-Kafeel College, Dr. Nawras Al-Dahan and the Coordinator of the Ministerial Electronic Team, Dr. Amir Al-Ameer who summarized the experience of the Ministry in the field of digital transformation over a full year of interaction in which one million and sixty-seven thousand students and fifty-seven thousand faculty members all managed to draw a course success that praised by international organizations. The online conference concluded with scientific interventions from the President of Al-Karkh University of Science Dr. Thamer Al-Kadhemi and Assistant President of the University of Mosul for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Munir Salem Taha Al-Badrani who praised the experience of Iraqi universities and their openness to the world to achieve the goals of the educational process in Iraq. It is worth mentioning that the first session was moderated by Dr. Khaled Al-Mayah and in the attendance of more than a thousand five hundred participants from inside and outside Iraq.
