College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Karbala held the 6th national and 3rd international scientific conferences, President of University, Dr. Basim Al-Saidi said. Dr. Al-Saidi added that the two conferences are a festival that celebrate science, honor researchers and open wide scientific horizons, as well as being a platform for launching communication channels between Iraqi and international universities and scientific research centers. For her part, Dean of the College, Dr. Hamida Idan said that the conferences are to establish a scientific platform for researchers in renewable sciences, to activate the university’s role in developing society and the homeland and to identify new scientific resources, as well as reducing chemical and biological risks via using the concept of green technology. It is worth mentioning that the conferences recommended the necessity of working to document the bonds of cooperation between Iraqi and international universities on the one hand and society on the other hand.
