University of Karbala reviewed with the head of the Iranian delegation, Dr. Ali Ridha Al-Tawakoli holding an international conference on the role of educational and religious institutions in consolidating the principles and values of the community, Presidents’ Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Zohair Al-Mankoshi said.

Dr. Al-Mankoshi added that the university signed agreements with the Iranian universities on holding an international conference in November on the role of the religious and educational institutions in consolidating the principles of the community, linking the researches with community’s needs and transforming the contexts of the scientific researches to study and address the community issues

For his part, Dr. Al-Tawakoli said that the conference aims at establishing a society of justice and noble values to understand Muslims’ needs and benefit from the revolution of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and its intellectual and spiritual dimensions and he expressed the readiness of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Al-Mustafa Open University and Allameh Tabataba'i University to enhance the academic relation with the University of Karbala and opening on the community and meeting its needs.
