College of Science, University of Karbala held a training course on the mechanism of writing a research and publishing it in recognized journals. The course reviewed the basics of writing scientific research, the parts of a scientific article, its publication and methods of documenting it on the title of the research or in the list of sources. The course highlighted classifying the recognized journals, how to choose the appropriate journal for the research field and ways to avoid unreliable journals. The course demonstrated the researcher's most important strengths by publishing scientific research and how to benefit from some academic websites such as Google Scholar, Scopus Preview, Research Gate and other academic websites that would increase the researcher's ability to research methods and benefit from publishing the research by researchers with similar specializations.
