Misan University: On Blood Physiological Components

College of Agriculture, University of Misan delivered a lecture on measuring and detecting physiological blood components, the Faculty Member in the College, Dr. Zainab Subaih Hassan said. Dr. Hassan added that the lecture reviewed how to take blood samples, examine some physiological readings of blood, determine the type of blood components and hemoglobin stains and using a Sahli haemometer, as well as determining the size of PCV cells. Dr. Hassan continued by saying that the lecture demonstrated some disease conditions that cause an increase or decrease the blood components and hemoglobin pigments such as anemia, nutritional deficiencies and polycythemia because of their importance in early diagnosis before capillary clotting occurs and fibrin strings are considered one of the main causes of genetic hemorrhagic diseases as life threatening.
