College of Medicine, University of Misan delivered a lecture on intravenous fluids by the faculty member, Dr. Yassin Obaid Yassin. The lecture reviewed the defects that may occur during dealing with the use of intravenous fluids and the focusing on health issues in the use of such medicinal materials in the daily work. The lecture highlighted the correct scientific foundations in administering intravenous fluids to patients, taking into consideration the type of intravenous fluid and the patient’s condition that requires it, with an emphasis on paying attention to the side effects that may accompany the administration of these fluids. The lecture recommended that workshops be held for college students for the completed stages in particular, as well as resident physicians and the important topic in the daily work.
