The faculty member in the College of Management and Economics, University of Misan, Dr. Ibrahim Kataa Helou published a book on green energy in the sustainable development. The book, in which included of ten chapters, reviewed the importance of adopting sustainable energy, increasing diversity in the source of energy, exploiting natural resources and reducing dependence on fossil energy to avoid its environmental effects and the environmental waste that affects humans, animals and plants alike. The book highlighted the importance of green energy and its positive effects when applied according to plans and strategies related to sustainable development in the Iraqi environment in order to develop it according to the environmental needs.
