College of Science, University of Thi-Qar organized a scientific symposium on the prospects for renewable energy and its investment in Iraq by Dr. Abdul Karim Mahdi Al-Niyazi. The symposium addressed the importance of renewable energy as it is clean, sustainable and free of natural polluting waste. The symposium recommended setting the necessary policies and programs by the Ministry of Electricity to invest the types of renewable energies in Iraq to solve the energy crisis, encourage the government to conduct scientific research programs in universities and scientific research centers in the field of renewable energy and benefit from the global and regional experience in employing energy in the fields of work.
