College of Law, University of Thi-Qar held 1st international scientific online conference on law and economic development in Iraq, President of the University, Dr. Yahya Abd Al-Redha Abbas Al-Khafaji said. Dr. Al-Khafaji added that the online conference demonstrated the importance of continuing scientific conferences in university institutions. Dr. Al-Khafaji reviewed that the online conference addressed the challenges related to developing laws to keep pace with economic transformations in the country and the role of international agreements and treaties in the fields of investment and foreign trade to support the state's economy and achieve development in the community.
