College of Pharmacy, University of Basra organized a symposium on the effect of the PH value of the moving medium on electivity in the method of high pressure chromatography by the faculty member, Dr. Mohamed Sattar. The symposium reviewed the importance of choosing the PH value of each drug and its dependence on its ionic nature. The symposium demonstrated the mechanism of action of the PHCL device and its various pharmaceutical applications, which ensure reference to the standards that are necessary to be provided when using this device, including selectivity, efficiency and clarity. The symposium highlighted the stationary phase types that are used in this device and the mechanisms of their work.
