A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Diyala on the antioxidant activity and the phenolic content of extracts of some parts of the orange plant by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Iman Mohsen Kadhim. The dissertation aimed at evaluating the antioxidant efficacy of extracts of some parts of the orange plant, which include the leaves, flowers and the outer rind of the fruits. The dissertation concluded a variation in the parts of the orange plant in their content of the different active compounds phenols, alkaloids, carotenoids, tannins, soaps and vitamins dissolved in water.
