Department of Internal Medicine in the College of Medicine, University of Misan delivered a lecture on renal disease by the faculty member in the College, Dr. Haider Saadoun Qassem. The lecture reviewed the disease, diagnosing its symptoms such as fluid retention, shortness of breath, fatigue, confusion, nausea, weakness and an irregular heartbeat. The lecture highlighted the clinical symptoms, how to differentiate between acute and chronic renal impairment and the diagnostic methods adopted in examining kidney function by sonar.
