In cooperation with the Peace and Freedom Organization, College of Political Science, University of Tikrit held a symposium on public policy for peacebuilding in Iraq, opportunities and challenges. The symposium demonstrated three axes on peacebuilding opportunities in Iraq, peace building challenges and the foundations of peace building in Iraq. The symposium recommended the necessity of building a general policy adopted by the government on peace building in Iraq along the lines of the reform and economic policies followed, since the issue of peacebuilding is no less important than development and economic progress.
